 Personality:
Zane is a genius with an IQ of 170. He's (seemingly) detatched, cold, and doesn't often regret much of what he does. Very little gets to his concious once he does it because Zane thinks everything over for a long time and this has lead many to believe he's a sociopath. However, the Espeon isn't a sociopah. He's just completely and utterly socially inept. Zane also tends to take everything literally. Most metaphors or slang terms and sayings simply go over his head.  Zay's meticulous and plans everything he wishes to do down to the finest hair. As such, the man's insanely particular. He wants everything to be perfect and just like he wants it. One of the only ways Zane looses his temper is when you mess one of his "projects" up. Otherwise, he's soft-spoken, quiet, and peaceful. He does speak authoritatively and expects to be listened to, but Zane's a normally patient guy. He can be somewhat passive aggressive when he's impatient though and verbal barbs are a common way of expressing whatever frustration Zane feels. So, while Zane can be passive agressive and is often aloof and arrogant he's mostly patient and doesn't often loose his temper.
Surprisingly, Zane can be rather nice when he likes people. He may not be loyal in the traditional sense, but Zay is somewhat possessive. He views thos most people would call friends as "his" to keep and does get angry when they're hurt, played with, and - on really, really bad days- even when somebody talks to them the "wrong way". This makes Zane excessively difficult to deal with and be around. He does try to keep his "friends" happy around him though. He's a generally well-meaning man who tries to be there when he can. However, his social ineptitude has lead to a general dislike of most people. He does enjoy intelligent conversations and a select few for company. Despite his brash and confident persona Zay is honestly unsure of himself at times. This is something very few notice, but it is there. It leads to a few stumbling moments for the Espeon, and Zane often has times were he isn't sure what he should do in certain situations.

Also:
Zane has never really cared what he looks like and what anybody thinks of him. He's never put much consideration into his looks and that's why he looks like a homeless person despite being a literal genius. ((If he ever had to work, he'd take good care of his uniform but otherwise he just kind of throws whatever on))
